Prior to coming to the bar Vinod worked as a solicitor in a major national law firm in Government and Commercial law. He worked at the Patents and Trademarks Office (IP Australia) in Canberra for 8 years, and 10 years in mining industry before commencing his legal career. Vinod holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Australian National University and Master of Laws degree from the University of Melbourne. He also holds post graduate qualifications in Patents law, Trade Marks Law, and Professional Conduct.
