History of the List

List M was established in March 1973 with Doug Muir as senior clerk, along with a young and eager Glenn Meldrum as office junior.

Glenn’s passion and promise quickly shone through, leading to promotion to Assistant Clerk in 1974.

After 19 years Doug Muir retired and Glenn Meldrum was elevated to the role of senior clerk, and thus, List M transitioned to become Meldrum’s List. 

In 2010 Meldrum’s List merged with Hyland’s and became Meldrum & Hyland and with the retirement of Gerard Hyland in 2019 we now revert to Meldrum’s List.

The Clerks

Glenn Meldrum Barristers’ Clerk

Glenn has been the senior clerk for 30 years and has assisted in developing many careers over that time. He has forged countless strong and long lasting relationships with briefing solicitors and his happy and easy-going manner ensure a very user friendly experience. Glenn most enjoys the human connection of the role and doing what he can to assist.

Max Gray Assistant Clerk

Max began working for Glenn Meldrum over 12 years ago, and has performed the role of assistant clerk for the last 7 years. During his time with Meldrum’s he has forged strong professional relationships with List members and solicitors. Max works hard to maintain the highest level of professionalism and enjoys the challenges that the role brings.

Max is proud to be a longer serving member of the Meldrums’ team. 

Glenn Meldrum Jnr Assistant Clerk

Glenn is dedicated to providing a great level of service and experience to Barristers, Solicitors and clients alike. This is driven by his goal to listen with empathy and intention and offer support no matter the background. As an experienced problem solver, he takes pride in providing timely solutions to the daily challenges that arise.

What he enjoys most about the role is calling on his intimate knowledge of the List members and matching the right Barrister to the brief.

Marni is friendly and approachable with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a reputation for delivering exceptional results with efficiency and attention to detail.

She is a hard-working individual who is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction. Her problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box are a valuable addition to the team.

Liza Stojanovska Reception/Admin

As an experienced receptionist and office administrator, Liza is always friendly, courteous and ready to respond to your enquiries. She has worked for many Legal Firms and is familiar with the legal process, ensuring customers’ questions are fully addressed. As the front desk to our business, Liza is always here to help.
