Andrew has extensive experience in Criminal Law and regularly appears in the Magistrates’ Court, County Court and Supreme Court. He accepts briefs in:

Before coming to the bar, Andrew worked for Victoria Police, during which time he prosecuted serious indictable crimes in the Melbourne Children’s Court.

Prior to this, Andrew was Associate to Judge Smith of the County Court of Victoria. Judge Smith sat in both the Criminal and Commercial Divisions and was Judge in charge of the Defamation List.

Before legal practice, Andrew worked in policy for the Department of Justice, during which time he worked on reforms to post-sentence supervision orders, police powers and counter-terrorism laws.

Andrew is familiar with all aspects of the criminal process in both the summary and indictable stream. He is committed to providing his clients with high quality representation.

Andrew read with Simon Moglia - now Judge Moglia of the County Court.

Andrew is the holder of an Indictable Crime Certificate and is a member of the Victoria Legal Aid Criminal Trial Preferred Barrister List.
