Profile Details
Penelope completed a law and arts degree majoring in Psychology at Monash University in 2000. She completed her Articles of Clerkship with the Office of Public Prosecutions in 2002 and worked there for the following 4 years. Penelope left Australia and worked in London for a year in the area of criminal law and liquor licensing for the royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. On returning to Australia Penelope worked again for the Office of Public Prosecutions and then moved to the prosecution agency of the Department of Primary Industries and the Department of Sustainability and Environment. Since joining the bar Penelope has developed her practice in criminal defence and proseuction cases.
Penelope was awarded an Indictable Crime Certificate on the 20th of June 2016. The certificate certifies that Penelope has attained an appropriate level of competence as a barrister in the conduct of indictable criminal law matters.
